i greatly enjoyed following your journey. I was fortunate to meet up with you in Lake Louise. I’m actually starting to think about a foot trip rather than a motorbike trip.

When the nights are drawing in and nurse is tucking the blanket around me to keep out the chill, and the last of the rice pudding is dribbling over my chin and the children are saying “Where’s Dad gone now?” . . .
And I’m crossing the middle fork of the Gila River over and over and over again . . .
