Yes indeed! The mountains are waiting and today is  today! It is hard to imagine that the day has finally arrived. So much planning, packing, mending, and re-sewing (I hope my underwear lasts until Lake Louise! My patching was always messy…And that the dental floss hold my gloves together! And that I have enough glue on my shorts and jacket! Ah – my father always said that mending was the sign of experience…). Let’s hope that it was enough and worth it!
